⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent car rental experience in Crete!

We rented two cars from Car and Travel, and everything was perfect from start to finish.

Our flight arrived late, after the office had closed, but the team was waiting for us at the airport with name signs and personally escorted us to our cars. This was a great welcome after a long journey!

Both cars were clean, tidy, and in good condition, with only a few minor scratches from previous use. The staff pointed them out to us and reassured us that we didn’t need to worry about them.

What we really appreciated was the straightforward and transparent pricing. No deposit, no additional insurance purchases, no hidden fees or unexpected charges — we paid only the agreed rental price.

Friendly, professional, and reliable service. Everything was exactly as agreed, with no unpleasant surprises.

Car and Travel was easy to work with from start to finish as George reviewed my reservation, allowed me to make an adjustment, and gave me the option to return the car to the office or the airport (which I tried and it worked well, as the parking was right  next to the terminal building for flight departures. One of the unfortunate aspects of renting a car in the US is the people don’t  go to the car to show you how everything works. George went over the basics, which i appreciated because the Fiat has a few features I hadn’t seen before, like auto shifting into park once the ignition is shut off.

We had a fantastic experience with this car rental company during our one-week stay in Crete in early September. Communication was excellent from start to finish.
We were met on time at the arrivals exit by a member of the team holding a sign with our name, and they personally accompanied us to the car.
We also received a wonderful surprise: a free upgrade to a Toyota Yaris Cross SUV. The car was in outstanding condition, very clean and practically new, with just over 7000 km on the clock.
The price was excellent and, from what I found, offered the best value among the websites I checked, especially considering that I booked at the last minute, only about two weeks before the trip. Full insurance was included, and there was absolutely no security deposit required.
Returning the car was just as easy and hassle-free, even though our flight was very early in the morning, at 5:00 AM.
